Running analysis in Cupertino.

For the injury that keeps returning every training cycle: find the mechanical flaw behind it, not just another week off.

Recurring running injuries Gait & technique breakdowns Talk to a Specialist

What It Is

Your injury has a mechanical reason. We find it.

Runner’s knee, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, the same ache that shows up two miles into every run: these rarely come from bad luck. They come from how you actually run, stride after stride, thousands of times a week.

We break down your gait on video, frame by frame: foot strike, cadence, hip drop, how your joints load with every step. That’s where the real answer lives, not in the sore spot you keep icing.

Once we find the mechanical flaw driving the injury, we build a plan to correct it: targeted strength work, cueing, and drills, so you fix the pattern instead of just waiting out the pain and running right back into it.

What It Helps

Where running analysis shines.

If the same injury keeps returning a few weeks into training, the cause is usually in how you move, not just where it hurts.

What A Session Looks Like

Three steps, one visit.

1

We film your gait on a treadmill, real speed.

2

We break it down frame by frame with you.

3

You leave with drills to correct the flaw.

Why It Works

Four reasons runners keep coming back.

Finds the flaw rest alone can’t fix.

Breaks the cycle of recurring injury.

Backed by real video, not a guess.

Gets you back to mileage, for good.

Questions, Answered

Running analysis, no mystery.

You run on a treadmill at your normal pace while we film your gait from multiple angles. Then your Doctor of Physical Therapy breaks the footage down with you, frame by frame, to show exactly what’s happening at foot strike, hip, and knee. You leave with a plan built on what your own body is actually doing.

Because rest treats the pain, not the mechanics behind it. If a mechanical flaw in your stride is overloading a joint or tendon, that load comes right back the day you resume training. A running analysis finds that flaw and gives you a plan to correct it, so the injury stops repeating every cycle.

Most PPO plans cover running analysis when it’s tied to an injury, and many cover it well. Coverage still varies by plan, so we verify your exact benefits before your first visit, meaning no surprise on your bill. Questions before then? Call us at (408) 873-8188.
